At Meti, we are committed to developing new products that we believe are missing in the Georgian market, aiming to enhance both quality and affordability. Our brand is youthful and vibrant, designed to appeal to a younger audience with its fun colors and packaging.

The Khobi 2 hydroelectric station is an innovative project located on the Khobistskali River in the northwest region of Georgia, specifically in Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti. This run-of-river hydropower plant boasts impressive specifications designed to harness the river’s energy sustainably.
Key characteristics of the Khobi 2 project include a capacity of 44.5 MW with an annual power generation of approximately 200,000,000 kWh. The facility operates with a water head of 277 meters and is designed for a flow of 21 m³/s, ensuring efficient energy production while maintaining ecological balance with an ecological flow of 1.3 m³/s.
The project features a 10-meter-high concrete weir equipped with a gated spillway and a fish pass, promoting environmental sustainability. A 6.6 km water headrace tunnel, excavated using Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) techniques, connects to a 660-meter-long surface steel penstock. The power generation is facilitated by two vertical Pelton turbines, each with a capacity of 23.2 MW, housed within a surface powerhouse.
Additionally, the Khobi 2 project includes an 18 km high-tension transmission line leading to the Jvari 500 kV substation, ensuring efficient distribution of the generated power.
The total investment in the project amounts to $93.5 million, with equity of $27 million and debt financing of $66.5 million. The Khobi 2 hydroelectric station not only represents a significant advancement in renewable energy production in Georgia but also underscores our commitment to sustainable development and ecological responsibility.

Akura Production was founded in 2022 and is engaged in the cultivation, processing, production, and sale of walnuts. It owns 25 hectares of agricultural land in the Kakheti region, specifically in the village of Akura, where Chandler variety walnut trees, imported from abroad, have been planted. At this site, the company has established a walnut processing plant equipped with industrial-grade machinery from the French brand AMB ROUSSET, enabling efficient processing of its walnut harvest. The company is committed to ongoing development, expansion of production, and increasing its operational capacity.
In addition to walnut production, Akura Production manages an additional 80 hectares of vineyards, where varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Syrah are cultivated. The company plans to further expand its vineyards by acquiring an additional 50 hectares to enhance its presence in the white wine segment.
Akura also oversees 150 hectares of agricultural fields in Northern Kakheti, dedicated to growing hazelnuts, walnuts, and almonds. Our state-of-the-art facility includes modern grape processing, storage, wine production, and bottling, equipped with advanced Italian machinery from brands such as LETINA and ZAMBELI. We have also constructed a luxurious hotel featuring 15 contemporary rooms designed to offer guests an exceptional experience.
In 2024, we harvested our first grapes, marking the beginning of our winemaking journey. Currently, we produce two types of red wines, two white wines, and one rosé. Additionally, we are expanding our operations to include chacha production, using grape residues, with plans to introduce two types by the end of 2026.
Our brand, Vine Era, reflects our commitment to quality, blending global best practices with local traditions.
